Denmark Migration

Denmark Migration

Welcome to Global-Migrate, UK’s most trusted name in Denmark Visas and Immigration.

Denmark is the southernmost of the Nordic countries, located southwest of Sweden and south of Norway. Germany is on the south of Denmark. The country consists of a large peninsula, Jutland and many islands, as well as hundreds of minor islands often referred to as the Danish Archipelago.

Denmark has recently become one of the most active members of the European Union which is giving Skilled foreign workers an opportunity to work in their country. Denmark’s immigration policy is very similar to the HSMP or the Tier 1 General category in the United Kingdom’s skilled immigration options which is not available to foreign nationals anymore. Denmark Immigration uses a point’s based system, namely, the Danish Green Card to attract foreign skilled workers to come work in the EU. Apart from this, Denmark also has a work permit system called the Positive List scheme which allows foreign nationals with a valid job offer from a Danish employer to work in Denmark.

Green Card Scheme

The Greencard scheme allows you to work in Denmark without any restrictions. This is a points based application and you need to score a minimum of a 100 pints based on your age, education, language and work experience. A residence permit under the Greencard scheme gives you the right to carry out paid or unpaid work. However, the Ministry of Integration clearly specifies that this permit does not give you the right to work as a self-employed person i.e. you run your own business. You must also be able to prove that you can financially support yourself during your first year in Denmark.

British Citizenship

British Citizenship

British Naturalisation, also known as British Citizenship, is the final immigration UK service available to all applicants with permanent residency status or the "Indefinite Leave to Remain" or "ILR". To be eligible to apply for British Citizenship one must have spent a minimum of three to five years living and working in the UK. This means that you should have held the right to work in the UK at all times

Benefits of UK Citizenship

As a British Citizen you will have permanent residency unlike the UK visit visas, travel visas or work permits. The best part about this application is that, once approved there will be no time restrictions upon the holder. A British citizen does not need a UK work permit and successful applicants do not have any restrictions to live and work in the UK

Sponsor Your Family

A Canadian citizen or permanent resident may sponsor her or his spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, or dependent children to come to Canada as permanent residents

Your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, or dependent children may be eligible to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents.

An application for Family Class sponsorship can be made if your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, or dependent children live inside or outside Canada.

All applicants for permanent residence must go through medical, criminal and background screening.

Tier 2 Visa

Tier 2 Visa

There are various different categories under the Tier 2 visa application route for the UK

Tier 2 General Work Permits

The Tier 2 work permit is designed for highly skilled workers who are from outside of the EEU - the European Economic Area. The permit grants them a UK visa on the basis that they have a job offer and meet a number of skill requirements.
At Global-Migrate we provide a tailor made service designed to assist these highly skilled individuals to get a successful outcome of their visa.

Benefits of a Tier 2 visa

Tier 2 immigration is a UK visa which offers a possibility of permanent residency in the UK to highly skilled foreign nationals. It allows large organisations to transfer the skills of new and existing staff members from outside the UK into this country.
The Tier 2 work permit visas can last between one day and five years, depending on the time frame specified by the sponsoring company. Although the Tier 2 permit is not a permanent residency visa, those who do live and work in the UK for a minimum of five years on this permit may apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK. Once they have completed a year on the ILR category they may be eligible for British Citizenship through the Naturalisation route

UK ILR Visas

UK ILR Visas

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) allows you to migrate to Britain permanently. It is often referred to as permanent UK residency. As part of this you gain settled status and can apply for British citizenship via naturalisation.
An application for permanent residency in the UK can be made by people who have previously been successful in applying for a UK visa in Britain in a category leading to settlement. These categories will say if they are or are not eligible and counted towards the right to remain.
Global-Migrate can help you to obtain anything from a short-term visit visa through to long-term residency and citizenship. We handle everything and anything to do with UK immigration. You can find out whether you qualify by completing our online Indefinite Leave to Remain assessment form today.
ILR Benefits

A permanent resident visa for Great Britain has no time limit imposed upon it, and whereas a work permit would depend upon a specific offer of employment, there are no immigration related restrictions upon the type of work or business a person with a permanent UK resident status may undertake on arrival.

Quebec skilled workers

Quebec skilled workers

Quebec is a province in east-central Canada. It is the only Canadian province with a predominantly French-speaking population and the only one whose sole official language is French at the provincial level. Quebec is Canada’s largest province by area and its second-largest administrative division; only the territory of Nunavut is larger.

Quebec establishes its own immigration requirements and selects immigrants who will adapt well to living in Quebec.

Quebec-selected skilled workers must apply in two stages.

You must first apply to the Quebec government for a certificate of selection (Certificat de selection du Quebec). This is the official document that shows that the Government of Quebec has accepted you to that province.

After you have been selected by Quebec, you have to make a separate application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for permanent residence. This is the second and final stage. Here, you will have to pass a medical examination, security and criminal checks.

You must also show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you arrive in Canada.
